Online Coaching

All members of our club have access to individualized personal coaching services. 

Women’s Running Group

​

A group for women only; of all ages and abilities! Does this sound like what you’re looking for? The aim of this group is to provide coaching and training in an environment that is not competitive but supportive.

If you wish to improve your fitness and meet new friends with similar interests through running this group is for you.

 

As your coach I will guide and support you in your goals whether it be the desire to lose weight and feel better about yourself, or to improve your overall fitness, or even aim to participate in an upcoming running event I am here to help you.

As a women, running with a group has its advantages, those being companionship, safety, encouragement, motivation, and perhaps even time out from family commitments, your time. It's not as intimidating to run with a group if you feel as though they are your support network. Group size will be limited to a maximum of 15 participants.

​

Your Coach has over 40 years experience as a runner and is accredited by Athletics Australia to guide and support Recreational Runners. Running sessions operate twice weekly in the mornings after schools commences. Sessions are located in and around Mandurah and Rockingham. Members of the group will all be treated personally and will have access to online coaching.

 

The program will conclude with the option if desired of participating in a 5 km event. Cost for 12 weeks of training sessions is $200 which includes training guides and individual coaching. New sessions commence regularly.

Intermediate Running Group

​

This group is for you, if you have some running experience but want to improve your “Personal Best” times and run both further and faster. A group for those optionally wishing to compete in distances from 5 km and up, and looking for training support and encouragement that is realised when running with others.

 

If you’re able to complete a thirty minute run or a distance of 5 km or more this is for you. For runners looking at performance racing check out our “Performance Squad”.

The Intermediate Running Group training program is designed for casual or existing runners who can, for the most part, maintain a continuous run for up to 5 km. Sessions initially involve a “core base” phase; progressing to long runs, intervals, hill training and tempo runs.

 

The program will end in an opportunity to compete as a team in a local running event, an example depending upon the time of year could be City to Surf or the Perth Running Festival. All ages are welcome in this group. Group size will be limited to a maximum of 15 participants.

Performance Running Squad

​

A Squad for athletes aged from 8 years old and up.  This is our competitive based program. Members of the Performance Squad compete at a high level with a goal of representing Western Australia at the State, National or International level.

 

All members train a minimum of 4 times a week. Training sessions involve intervals, hills, distance, fartlek, strength and condition and plyometrics.  Individual coaching plans are developed for each athlete with consideration to goals, training age, chronological age, nutrition and health. Members compete in Athletics (track events), Cross Country and Road Racing.

​

To gain acceptance into the Performance Running Squad, one has to “tryout” and a minimal level of performance is necessary to be considered for membership in the program. If you believe this is what you’re looking for, I encourage you to contact me for more information and a personal discussion.
